Wonderland（Mixed media, instalation, 2026）
令和7年度 文化庁メディア芸術クリエイター育成支援事業採択企画本作は、自閉スペクトラム症 (ASD) という特性を持つ作家自身の子どもに関する出来事を起点に、そこに付随する家庭という内向的で可視されにくい小さな社会から、それらを取り囲む大きな社会を地続きとして扱う体験型演劇作品である。
舞台は空間全体を1つの複層的な社会とし、空間の中心にある家が内(プライベート)の環境、それらを取り囲む 空間が外(パブリック)の環境として捉える。舞台の中では、作家が我が子から着想を元に再演された映像作品、作家の自宅の一部を模した家、そして演者として家の中に存在する家具や家電といった既製品による演劇から構成される。 作家が生活の中で体験したASDの我が子の視点や感覚を考察しながら、現代社会における実態のつかみにくいしがらみ、他者との関係における個としての生の在り方を問いかける。
This experiential theater piece originates from the artist’s personal experiences with their child, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It bridges the "family"—an introverted, often invisible microcosm—with the broader society that surrounds it, treating them as a seamless continuum.
The stage functions as a multilayered society: the house at the center represents the "private" (internal) environment, while the surrounding space embodies the "public" (external). The performance is composed of three elements: video works reenacting scenes inspired by the artist’s child, a physical structure modeled after a portion of the artist’s own home, and a "play" performed by ready-made objects—such as furniture and household appliances—acting as performers within the house. By reflecting on the child’s sensory perspective as experienced through daily life, the work interrogates the intangible entanglements of modern society and the nature of individual existence within our relationships with others.
